CHKD Healthy Mommy Healthy Baby

CHKD’s Healthy Mommy, Healthy Baby support group helps new and expectant mothers and their families overcome anxiety and depression by providing free support, information and resources. This group meets on the first Tuesday afternoon of every month, specifically for NICU moms, as well as on the third Wednesday evening of every month for all moms.

EVMS Loving Steps Program

The Virginia Healthy Start Initiative/Loving Steps Program works to eliminate significant disparities in perinatal health experienced by African-American women and their families in order to prevent infant mortality and low weight births. Loving Care services are provided to pregnant women and teens, parenting women and teens, infants and toddlers in the city of Norfolk.
